Definition:

In Mandarin, “嗌交” (ài jiāo) is a colloquial term used to describe two people having an argument or quarreling. In Cantonese, the equivalent term is “嗌交” (ngai3gau1).

Example Usage:

Person 1: What’s going on with Jane and Chris?

Person 2: They are husband and wife and 嗌交 (quarreling) as usual.

Person 1: Oh, got ya!
