Choi Seong-guk (최성국, Choi Seong-guk), born in South Korea on December 2, 1970, is a South Korean actor. In 1995, he made his debut through the 5th SBS public selection of performing talents. Director Kim’s expression is a popular spoof character. It comes from the movie “Director Kim vs Director Kim vs Director Kim” (金馆长对金馆长对金馆长). In a small village, there are several “martial arts masters” hidden in it, and coincidentally these masters are all named Kim.
Director Kim’s expressions are often modified and placed onto various characters. It is one for the most widely used expressions in the Chinese internet discourse. As the circulation of curator Kim’s expressions increased it become one of the three giants of Asian expression packages (Hanazawa Coriander, Yao Ming, Director Kim).
